Sun Mandala #7 - Free Coloring Page

At the center, a small circle holds a diamond-petaled flower. A ring of tight spirals surrounds it, then eight long flame-shaped petals unfold, separated by scrollwork and small clusters of round-berry flowers. A band of miniature flowers wraps around this, followed by a wide collar of triangular points like sun rays. A clean double-line circle closes the design.

The linework is fine, and small shapes multiply: spirals, flower clusters and rows of triangular rays each number in the dozens. The eight large central petals offer the calmest surfaces for color. This mandala coloring page suits someone already comfortable with detail, and finishing it takes more than one sitting.

A fine liner or a sharpened pencil moves more cleanly than a broad marker through the spirals and the ray collar, where space is tight. Starting with the eight main petals sets the dominant tones before the tiny border details. For this printable mandala, print at A4 on at least 200gsm paper so marker ink doesn't bleed through.
